Why Ferments?

The simplest way I can put it– our body is made up of trillions of cells, many of which are microbial cells. These microbes have a plethora of jobs in the body, and the good bug/microbes keep the bad/pathogenic microbes in check. By making and consuming fermented foods, you are contributing to the good gut bugs thus avoiding (and/or healing) the symtpoms of the bad bugs.
